I received my PhD degree in Chemistry with Honor (Cum laude) and international recognition from Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) in Spain. For Master’s thesis, the complete grade for the first time was given to me at Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) in Iran because of my perseverance and merit. Similarly, I graduated with honor for Bachelor´s study. I have been working on Water oxidation, Solar cells, Synthesis, Polymer, Mechanism investigation and Quantum Dots.

Ikerketan aritzeko motibazioa/Mi motivación para dedicarme a la investigación

I have wanted to pay off my debt to mother earth and found that trying to replace fossil fuels with a sustainable energy source.

I am a Post-doctoral researcher at BCMaterials (Basque Center for Materials, Applications and Nanostructures) under supervisions of Dr. Samrana Kazim and Prof. Shahzada Ahmad. The postdoctoral study is supported by a grant called ´Desarrollo de tecnologias fotovoltaicas avanzadas (ENSOL2, Funding entity: the Basque Government (Department of Industry)). My main research interest is designing of organic and inorganic materials for solar cells applications.

Nire ikerketa-ibilbidean aipatzen dut…/En mi trayectoria investigadora destaco…

My pre-doctoral study was supported by competitive FPI grant for production of H2 gas (Referencia del proyecto: SEV-2013-0319-02, Referencia de la ayuda predoctoral: BES-2015-073069). Moreover, I did a 3 months research internship at the lab of Prof. Ivana Ivanovic at the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, in Germany within the framework a collaborative project between the two labs. Up to now, three papers of my PhD works have been published in Q1 journals with cover page and hot paper distinction and some more will be published soon. During my PhD studies, I had different outreach activities e.g. I have won the Gold prize in “Explaining Their Research in a Video” of the Chemistry – A European Journal video competition for explaining one of the research work of PhD thesis. I have published 10 publications with total impact factor 30 and 140 citations.
